Splish! Splash!

Swimming at Graham's without Bubba -
Sanders was diving off the board with a little help from Aunt Meaghan, Wynn tried the slide, and Rebekah refused to get in the pool!

Wynn is finally four. Time is certainly flying for you. A Tom and Jerry cake is exactly what you ordered!

Leaves

I bet this will never happen again! Two boys raking leaves just for the fun of it. Rebekah slept through most of the work. She joined in just in time to jump in the fun.

Gourds at Gran's with Bubba

A Trip to Gran's With Bubba

I should explain. Graham and Gran sound alike, and are confusing to little folks. So, in our wisdom, we have cousin Graham referred to as "Graham without Bubba", and great-grandmother Gran Fondren known around here as "Gran with Bubba". Bubba just happens to be Gran's pug. We spent an afternoon with Gran singing Sander's newly composed "A Band of Cowboys", gathering gourds and romping in the yard

Little Band Boys

Little Uniforms for
Little Boys

Grandma, "we need band uniforms!"
Sanders phoned, "Grandma, get your pencil, head 21, neck 12, arm 18, . . ."
Nathan, in the background, "Deborah, did you measure Sanders?"
Deborah - "No, I guess he did."
Nathan - "I wouldn't put too much stock in those measurments."

It took several weeks but Abbi and I finished the band uniforms just in time for the MSU-Kentucky game. Now, I owe Rebekah a guard uniform!

Halloween Carvings-Our Two-Faced Jack-O-Lantern

We have carved a pumpkin every year with the grands. This year the whole family worked on the project. Rebekah and Wynn discovered cinnamon and cloves sprinkled on the lid smell better than plain pumpkin and taste better too. The past two years Sanders and Wynn have both drawn a face for the pumpkin, and we have two-faced jack-o-lanterns! Rebekah should be designing this time next year, I believe we may be shopping for two pumpkins.
